Update: Music RETURN! And one other piece to add to your collection

Hi Chorale! Happy Wednesday!

Today is our big sheet music return day. I also have one more piece for you to pick up that we are adding to our program! (Don’t worry, we’re also returning a few Carols by Candlelight pieces that didn’t quite stick this time around.)

Here are your instructions, if you are a physical sheet music person:

  1. Find your yellow folder, and retrieve Corpus Christi Carol from it. Numbers 35-45 (so that’s from Riley to the end of the list) please also find your copy of Child of Peace in there and retrieve it.
  2. Please stuff your folder with all of your repertoire from fall tour that did NOT make it onto our winter repertoire list! You may also return Javier Busto’s Ave Maria, and N. Luboff’s Still, Still, Still.
  3. Then, leave your folder on the table with all your returned music inside!

Please see that list below:

Seek Him That Maketh the Seven Stars – Dove
O Come O Come Emmanuel – Parker/Shaw
Veni Veni Emmanuel – Trotta
There Shall a Star – Mendelssohn
Alleluia – Jake Runestad
Child of Peace – Van
Gloria – Dove
Corpus Christi Carol – Kverno
Masters in this Hall – Simeone
O Magnum Mysterium – Lauridsen
Angels We Have Heard On High – Parker/Shaw
There is No Rose – Young
Ding Dong Merrily On High – Paulus
Joseph Dear, Joseph Mine – Wilberg
Lo, How a Rose E’er Blooming – Kirchner
Variations on Jingle Bells – Hayes
Candlelight Carol – Rutter

Any and all fall tour rep that did not make this list, please place in your yellow folders! Again, you can also return Busto’s Ave Maria, and Luboff’s Still Still Still as well.

E-reader people – please just be sure to download Kverno’s Corpus Christi Carol before rehearsal today, as well as anything on the above list that you have not yet downloaded. Do that here.

Yayyyyy! We can do this y’all! It’s always a little exhilarating to learn this much fun, meaningful rep in the little time we have to do so. This concert is gonna slap! See yah soon.
