Below is information shared from the UD Center for Global Programs and Services (CGPS). Text in red is by Amy. Please read carefully and complete all three registrations (1. UD Center for Global Programs and Services, 2. GeoBlue, 3. Crisis24 Horizon). Supporting documents are attached.
Everyone must complete all three registrations and emergency contact form prior to our departure for Slovenia.
REGISTER:
UD students: You will be asked to sign in using your CAS credentials. Go to Spring 2026: Delaware Choral Scholars, Slovenia “Apply Now > Start a New Application.” Within the form, choose the correct term (i.e., Spring 2026) and SELECT Spring 2026: Delaware Choral Scholars, Slovenia. Completing the form will register you as a “student traveler” in UD’s database. If you have an emergency abroad, we will use the information in the application to help you and notify your family.
**Non-UD students, UD alumni, and Continuing Education participants: You will need to submit the Quick-Bio Form before you can register for the program in the database. It is a UD Webform and the link can be found on the Study Abroad Application Process web page under “Forms for Non-UD Students.”
After submitting the Quick Bio form, you will need to email or call the ACCESS Center (contact info listed on the form) and request that they create a CAS login and UDID number for you (for UD alumni, you will need to request that they reactivate your UDEL account). Only after you have your login information are you able to access the database to register. Please go back and complete the registration through the student link above once you have your login credentials.
Non-UD Students who completed this process for our last trip should be able to use the same UD email login issued last time.
INSURANCE: All UD affiliated students and staff are covered by a blanket University wide policy with GeoBlue International Health Insurance. The insurance provides 24-hour emergency health assistance as well as $250,000 in coverage. Please use the attached documents to register for your GeoBlue insurance prior to your departure. Information about your coverage can be found in the Quick Guide attached or the GeoBlue portal once you have registered. The group access code is GTB9999UDBKT.
If you registered for GeoBlue for Tolosa, New Zealand, or another UD trip, you are already covered. Please try to login to make sure your account is still active.
TRAVEL SAFETY COVERAGE – CRISIS24 HORIZON: In addition to your GeoBlue International Health Insurance, the University also provides travel risk management for domestic and international travel, helping you travel safely by being informed and protected. For you to receive the benefits of alerts, risk ratings, location intelligence, awareness of threat zones, advice, and access to the 24/7 hotline and mobile app, you will need to upload your trip information into the Crisis24 Horizon system. We have attached step-by-step instructions for students and faculty to follow to create an account and upload your information into Crisis24 Horizon with no error (also steps on how to troubleshoot errors). If you have any questions, please email studyabroad@udel.edu.
CONTACT: Please provide your supervisor leading the program emergency contact information for you while abroad (a cell phone, parent/guardian information). This is a required field in the Global Programs application. If you need to make a change or would like to provide additional emergency contacts, please send them directly to Amy Anderson.
PASSPORT COPIES: We strongly suggest that you provide your supervisor a clear, legible photocopy of the photo/signature page of your passport- and take one with you. Should a passport be lost/stolen, this copy can make a world of difference in getting a speedy replacement.
We already have copies of your passports, but you should have quick access to a copy of your own passport in case you need it.
