DCS REHEARSAL – WEEKEND ONE

INFO ABOUT REHEARSAL TIMES, SCORES, HOW TO GET HERE, AND WHERE TO SLEEP!

Happy Wednesday the 13th to you all!

Here are the rough details about the upcoming rehearsal weekend, and a form to complete if YOU NEED HOUSING or if YOU ARE ABLE TO HOUSE SINGER TRAVELING FROM AFAR.

REHEARSAL TIMES:

Friday, Sept 22: 7:30 – 10:00 pm in AED 118 (Hopefully with a happy hour to follow at Deer Park or similar venue)

Saturday, Sept 23: 10:00 am – 1:30 pm // 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm (Evening at leisure)

Sunday, Sept 23: 10:00 am – 12:30 pm // 2:00 pm – 4:30 pm (Ending early so people can get home.)

MUSIC RESOURCES:

We’re stocking the Google folder with PDFs for you e-reader people. There are still several scores that haven’t arrived, but I’ve posted what we DO have so far. We’ll let you know when all the scores are available and corresponding YouTube videos are posted on the Repertoire page (which doesn’t quite exist yet at this writing.)

Here’s THE GOOGLE FOLDER

Here’s a PLAYLIST ON SPOTIFY

Here’s a similar PLAYLIST ON APPLE MUSIC

AIRPORT ARRIVALS AND HOMESTAYS

We have a lot of people coming quite a distance, including four singers all the way from the west coast. We will need help in providing airport transportation in addition to people who can offer a bed or a couch for our out-of-towners to crash on for the weekend.

To that end, Amy has developed this handy form so we can determine who needs housing and who can OFFER housing – as well as people willing to do airport runs on Friday afternoon and/or Sunday evening. Here’s that form….

I suspect there will be several more posts between now and September 22. Make sure you keep your eyes out for notifications, and remember you can always find past posts on the Updates page. And again – The password is “DCS-NZ-2024”

So excited to see you all soon.

  1. Hi Paul!

Thanks for posting this! If we are planning to use paper copies, are you providing copies at our first rehearsal? Or should we print from the google drive? Thanks!
