I THINK the director of one of the local choirs is coming to rehearsal around 1:00 pm today, so I’m trying to rolling with it. You need to download the new linked scores above and add them to your e-reader. We’ll have hard copies for people using paper scores.
WHAT DO I DO ABOUT MY BAGGAGE? ;>)
If you’re arriving on Bus #3 today there are three baggage solutions:
- If you’re at an island hotel, you can leave your bags at the port office where the bus drops us then walk to MMC
- If you’re at Kristina, the bus will make a second stop there so you can drop your bags and walk dow the hill to the MMC (Make sure you have Google Maps on your phone
- If you’re staying someplace else, bring your bags with you to the MMC and you’ll be good to go check in after rehearsal
IMPORTANT NOTE FROM AMY ABOUT THE MORNING TOUR
Sorry for the late message when many of you are probably asleep. I am not going to be at the morning tour to help you find Fiorenza. She is meeting you at the pier near the Adriatic Hotel, one of the ferry stops. I would recommend wearing your name tag lanyard if you got one tonight to help find the other people from our group and gather together to let her find you. The tour is paid for, but a small tip to show appreciation is appropriate if you feel inclined. Not required.
TODAY’S BOAT TRIP
The boat people won’t tell US where we’re meeting until afternoon when they know where they’re moored, SO WATCH WHATSAPP for last minute information! WE’LL MEET SOMEPLACE at 5:15 pm.
There will be know place to change on the boat, so plan accordingly if you plan to jump into the sea!
There’s MAY be a couple spaces left if anyone else wants to join us – let Kathryn know.
WEAR YOUR NAME TAG – ALWAYS!
Amy will continue to hand out name tags to all participants tomorrow at rehearsal. PLEASE WEAR THEM TO ALL SYMPOSIUM EVENTS (except when jumping into the Adriatic.) It’s sort of a nuisance, but it’s really awkward to interact with people when you’re trying to second-guess their names.
WHAT KIND OF FOOD DO YOU LIKE?
We still need menu choices for the Friday/Saturday dinners. We’ll come looking for you this morning if you haven’t given us your choice, but please save us the trouble by getting to Kathryn or Bri first. If we don’t hear from you by break today, we choose FOR you.
