I WANT TO BUY A TICKET FOR THE BOAT TRIP!

I didn’t quite expect the unbridled excitement for the impending boat trip around the Rovinj harbor and the Lim Fjord, but I’m delighted it seems we’ll have enough people to make the trip go! Eager to watch you all do back flips off the side of the boat!!

The price is $60 pp, including gratuity, and will be first come/first serve for those who complete the form in a timely manner. (See below.) Local wine, cheese, and charcuterie will be served on board during the 2-3 hour cruise, departing on Thursday, June 25 at 4:30 pm.

If you opt in to the boat trip in time to guarantee a space, we’ll send you a payment link to confirm your spot between now and next Monday.

Super Important Form #1

Please respond to this form AS SOON AS HUMANLY POSSIBLE. This is where we gather information about boat and dinner reservations, airport shuttle bookings, how you wish to take delivery of sheet music, (We need to get that ordered ASAP), and other vital information so we can wrap up plans for the week.

The form is live as of 3:00 pm (ET) today and will remain open until everyone has registered.

This is NOT the big multi-faceted registration form required by the Global Studies office. We’re still waiting for active links. We’ll let you know when that goes live.

And remember, we need a separate form for EACH and EVERY symposium participant.

I assembled a playlist of all the music – save one Paul Mealor piece – that we’ll be singing in Croatia. Some of the recordings are a little sketchy, but at least you’ll enjoy getting familiar with the music ahead of time. We hope to have scores available for pick-up by June 1.

Concert Attire

We plan to wear all black with a splash of blue for our concert in Rovinj. Wear whatever black you have that looks nice but is comfortable in the heat of summer. The stone steps outside the church can get slippery, so plan to wear shoes with decent traction. You will also need to bring a black folder for your music or have a black case for your iPad.
